Privacy &
Cookies.

ACE AI respects the people behind the information. This notice explains what this website collects, why we use it and the choices available to you under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Effective 25 August 2026

The short version: this website does not currently use analytics, advertising pixels or other non-essential cookies. It does not contain an enquiry form. If you contact ACE AI, you choose what information to share by telephone or email.

01

Personal information we collect

When you contact us by email or telephone, we may receive your name, contact details, organisation, role, the content of your enquiry and any information or documents you choose to provide.

Like most websites, our hosting and security provider may automatically process limited technical information when a page is requested. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested page, date and time, and security or diagnostic events.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and we have agreed an appropriate way to receive it.

02

Why we use it

We process personal information only where there is a lawful reason to do so. This includes responding to enquiries, arranging demonstrations, understanding business requirements, preparing proposals, managing a business relationship, operating and securing the website, keeping appropriate records, and meeting legal or regulatory obligations.

Providing information is generally voluntary. If we need particular information to respond or perform a requested service, choosing not to provide it may mean that we cannot continue with that request.

03

Who may process it

ACE AI does not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host and secure the website, provide business email or telecommunications, store business records, or supply professional advice. Our website is hosted through Cloudflare.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to a regulator or public authority, or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. Service providers are expected to process information only for the agreed purpose and with appropriate safeguards.

04

Cookies and website technology

This website does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies and does not use tracking pixels. We therefore do not display a cookie-consent banner.

Essential hosting or security mechanisms may be used where necessary to deliver and protect the site. They are not used by ACE AI for advertising or cross-site behavioural tracking. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing technology, we will update this notice and ask for consent before activating it where required.

05

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. These include limiting access, using reputable service providers, maintaining supported systems and reviewing how information is handled.

We retain enquiry and business correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the relationship, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, or comply with law. Technical and security information is retained according to the operational schedules of the relevant service provider. When information is no longer authorised or required, we delete, destroy or de-identify it as reasonably practicable.

No internet service is completely secure. If we become aware of a qualifying security compromise, we will take the steps required by applicable law.

06

Cross-border processing

Some service providers operate global infrastructure. As a result, limited personal or technical information may be processed outside South Africa, including in the United States or European Economic Area. Where cross-border processing occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that offer an appropriate level of protection consistent with POPIA.

07

Your rights

Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you; request access to it; ask us to correct, update or delete it; object to certain processing; or ask us to restrict processing where appropriate. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
